Three kinds of reader use Lenderboard. Choose the way in that fits you.
Look up the company behind your home loan and see how sound it is.
Your company against every rival, one measure at a time.
A lender whose main business is home loans. In India, housing finance companies are regulated by the Reserve Bank of India and supervised by the National Housing Bank.
By the size of their loan book, unless you pick another measure: growth, bad loans or returns. Every rank says which way it runs, such as “3rd lowest of 18”, so you never have to guess whether high is good.
From each company’s own filings: annual reports, quarterly results and investor presentations.
The figure comes from a filing, but our team has not finished checking it against the source. Until the check is done, it is marked as pending: striped in charts, bars and table cells, or with a small ring beside it.
The middle of the lenders that report a measure: half are above it, half below. A few very large or very small lenders can pull an average around, so we use the middle instead.
Screeners use one template for every company, and it misreads lenders. We use the measures lenders are judged on, such as bad loans, the rate they charge against what they pay to borrow, and capital, for listed and unlisted lenders alike.
No. We compare figures that companies publish. Nothing here recommends investing in, or borrowing from, any company.
